i`ve read plenty of posts about adding garlic to fish food to boost immune, and appetite in fishes. but i have no idea how to do it , do you use fresh garlic, powder, supplements, oils...ect ? and how do you add it and how much to add and how often ? i feed my fishes formula 1 in the morning and frozen ominvoir food in the night and would like to start adding garlic to thier diet but just dont know how and what to use.

    thx in adv.

I soak my frozen food in Garlic Extreme as it thaws out. A lot of folks use fresh garlic. I will probably do that when this is gone as its expensive and SMELLS BAD!

i use kyolic garlic tablets,i dissolve 1 tablet per 2ozs of ro water, been doing it for 5yrs now approx.
i add several drops to food,
also i add a full tablet to aquarium water with no harm being done once a month.i had a powder blue tang with ich, i do believe this helped cure the fish, now i add a tablet once a month.
sometimes i also add a few drops of selcon along with the garlic.

I use Kents Garlic Extreme and add 2-3 drops per small dish as my fish food thawes. Once it's thawed I then pour it through a strainer and rinse it with a swig of RO water.

I use the minced garlic that you get at the store...I add more garlic juice than actual garlic pieces to my special fish food mix....I do see a defferance when the fish feed with it and without it....it works great ......

same here, I will never feed my fish again without garlic added to the food. The difference is amazing and no more ich and the fish actually look healthier.
